Design mosaic roman

Design mosaic roman: Mosaic called Roman (marble and stone) which is an artistic technique goes up with antiquity. It is a question of assembling stone fragments, to form decorative figures and reasons: coatings, rosettes of the tables or plates of table, planks, logotypes, reproductions with old creations… Artemis creates mosaics by using various sizes, which allows the manual realization of reasons for decoration in micro mosaic. We have been specialised over many years in the production of artistic mosaics. We have recreated the traditional master craftsman’s workshop, producing unique creations using ancient roman techniques. Each piece of mosaic roman is exclusive and inimitable.

Present on the market since 1996, ARTEMIS has for principal activity the realization of works of decoration out of marble. Our works of marble make use of the most prestigious marbles of the Mediterranean region such as Kedhel Gris and Giallo Antico with ivory and ochre nuances. Works carried out are the techniques used by Romans:

The calepinage consisting in gathering parts of various natures (marbles, terra cotta and old ceramics, etc.);
Mosaïc reconstituting of tables, carpets, rosettes, planks and reproductions of antiquity;
Sculpture of columns, capitals, basins, fountains, consoles, balusters, etc;

In the workshops of ARTEMIS, the old techniques are rehabilitated and adapted to reproduce old works and to launch new creations; the matters are cut and assembled with the hand thus respecting the artisanal spirit, the completion is carried out in accordance with the traditional techniques. Works thus carried out mix art with the tradition to find time immémorial.
